Hi Banneker!
We are all at home but needing to keep busy during this time away from school. Art is everywhere you look and this is the perfect time to become the wonderful artist I know you all are. Making art is good for your mind and body. If you don’t have any art supplies at home, think about using recycled materials around the house, like plastic bottles, cereal boxes, egg cartons-anything you have that your parents will let you use and start creating.
Remember the Art Show is on June 2nd and I will be looking for art to showcase. This can be your time to work on something special that you would love to share at the show. Below are a few links to museums to check out and some art prompts. I have started on finally finishing up some old art pieces and plan on starting new ones of my own, and I can’t wait to share them with you all.
See you all soon!
