Our school has made it easy for all students, regardless of their primary language, to access our application process. We understand that language barriers can be a major obstacle for some, and we strive to ensure our admissions process is as user-friendly as possible. All of our application materials are available in our application system in multiple languages, to ensure that everyone is able to easily navigate through the process. By doing so, we hope to create a more inclusive and diverse student body. Whether you’re a native English speaker or not, we encourage you to explore everything our school has to offer and take advantage of our user-friendly application process.
Learning is more than the Classroom
The Banneker Student Experience
Exposure to the Arts
Banneker prides itself on a curriculum that exposes students to the visual and performing arts. Banneker students learn many forms of art expression, from paper and pencil portraits to dance performances that highlight the many talents of our students. As a STEAM school (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) our students get exposure to the world beyond the classroom.
Field Trips for fun and learning
Banneker students are explorers as well. Students take field trips to see Plymouth, the starting point for our democracy. Students will visit the Museum of Science, the museum of Fina Arts and a number of other locations so they can get the exposure they deserve to the local site of Massachaussets.
Enjoying the outdoors
Banneker students also experience nature and the outdoors through activities such as skiing, rock climbing, tubing and camping. Before students graduate they will have many opportunities to experience the joys of nature and the fun of group experiences outdoors.
