Welcome to the Banneker's Computer Lab

 Welcome to Banneker's computer lab. I am Ms. Hicks, the Technology Facilitator at the Banneker. I have been the facilitator at Banneker for 13 years. My goals have changed a little bit, but are basically the same since my arrival. They are collaborating with classroom teachers in nurturing life long learners, as well as expanding our community's development with using the very wide range of technologies our school has.  The computer lab at the Banneker is one of its busiest learning environments. It has 25 Macs and a Promethean Board, which aids our community. Our school also has two 1:1 laptop computer programs, which are entirely dedicated to the students in grades 4 and 6. Along with all of these mobile machines we too have a mobile iPad cart which houses 25 ipads which grades K-2 often use .

My door is always open to anyone in our community, parents, partners and friends of the Banneker. I welcome all, and I am always eager to help, learn and engage in any aspects when using technologies as learning tools.
